New technology in track mapping, car modelling, driving physics, damage calculations, etc, have all added something extra to the virtual racing experience. Online gaming is another area which has been developing at break neck speed and it only seems right that the two should finally merge in an online only racing experience. I say finally, but the truth is iRacing has been around for a couple of years. Unless you are very well informed about racing sims however, there is a good chance you’ll never have heard of it.
