Team Dignitas CSGO Welcomes aizy

Fri 30th May 2014 - 6:05pm

Today the Team Dignitas CSGO squad welcomes a new player to the starting lineup; Philip 'aizy' Aistrup. This move follows the team's decision to part ways with René 'cajunb' Borg who could not commit to the new regime our team has set up in order to take it to the next level.

Our CSGO team has been performing very well recently but the team felt like something had to change for them to become even better. A new regime was set up but unfortunately cajunb was not able to commit to this, leading to his departure from the team. With cajunb gone, our players decided to call upon the talent of aizy to take cajunb's spot in the team.

Aizy is a former 3DMAX and Reason Gaming player who has been substituting for us in the FACEIT Spring League recently. We're confident that with this change our team can keep bringing in achievements while improving even further and we hope they can keep counting on your support as they progress.

Team Manager Jehan Nithyanandan said:

"Today we are announcing the departure of René 'cajunb' Borg from Team Dignitas. While we have known René for a long time, and have experienced many recent successes, we feel the need to fundamentally adjust the way in which we play in order to take us to the top of our game. Unfortunately it became apparant that our vision on how to improve wasn't shared by all of our players, and as such, Team Dignitas have reached a mutual agreement to release René from his contract with the team.

We are also pleased to welcome a new face to the team in Philip "aizy" Aistrup, formerly of Reason Gaming, who has recently been substituting for us in the FACEIT Spring League. We feel that Philip possesses all the key attributes to become a top player and has the potential to flourish in this new lineup. Finally we'd like to extend thanks to our fans and all of our sponsors here at Team Dignitas for their continued support, as we continue to improve and post strong results."

"Just a day after we went official with Reason Gaming, I received an offer from Team Dignitas, and I honestly had no doubts about accepting it. I am happy that I have been given the chance to play for such a strong team as well as such a professional organisation.

I want to thank Team Dignitas and their sponsors for supporting and trusting us."
