Patoy joins Team Dignitas
Fri 20th Jul 2012 - 5:59pm: League of Legends
Wednesday we announced the departure of our League of Legends support player, L0CUST, from the lineup. As the season finals are approaching fast our team had to find a replacement to fill the gap in the lineup. Today we are happy to announce that our team has found a suitable replacement, as Jordan 'Patoy' Blackburn has joined our ranks.
Patoy comes from Monomaniac eSports and has proven to be a very talented support player. We are confident that he is the right player to represent our organisation and support our League of Legends squad. Welcome to the team!
Patoy stated: "Hello I am Patoy, I am the new support player for Team Dignitas. I am honored to be able to play under the Team Dignitas name. I will play my best and improve along with the team to show some great games to the fans. I want to say thank you to my old team, Monomaniac eSports, for allowing me to play for them and teaching me everything they did. I hope I'm able to keep learning and improve in the future with Team Dignitas."
His former teammate, Brandon 'DontMashMe' Phan, wanted to say some words about the transfer: "As you may all know, I am Patoy's former bot lane partner DontMashMe. First off, there is no bad blood between the both of us. We have played for quite a while and I knew we had to split eventually. I have talked to I Will Dominate for quite some time about this. Both are great friends and in the end, I do have a say.
Before Team Dignitas has contacted Patoy, I had to be the first to tell him at least or give him hints about it. I live off the quote “If you had one shot, one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted – one moment; Would you capture it or let it slip?” – Marshall Bruce Mathers III. Patoy has been given the opportunity and if anyone was in this position, I am pretty sure that they would take it in a heartbeat. Patoy has been a great friend and teammate. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he pursues and to Team Dignitas."
