Today is a historic moment in Dignitas' rich 15+ year history. We are proud to announce the grand opening of our new content and media production facility, dedicated to producing original content at the cross-section of gaming, entertainment, music and lifestyle media. The 3,000 square-foot facility will be based in Newark, NJ, adjacent to Prudential Center, the Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment owned 19,000 seat multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena home to 175 events in a calendar year. A 500-square foot Content Studio presented by Caffeine, equipped with four 4K cameras capable of 4K-quality live broadcast workflow, two soundproof, live streaming and recording pods and fully-stocked café make the facility an ideal location for high quality content production. The new East Coast training home for our seven teams - League of Legends, Rocket League, CS:GO Female, Super Smash Bros, SMITE, Clash Royale and Apex Legends, includes a professional gaming space, outfitted with high-end gaming computers, console systems and Dignitas-branded Raynor Gaming chairs.

Michael Prindiville, CEO of Dignitas

"This new facility drives to the heart of where Dignitas is moving as a leader in the gaming centric entertainment: with a heavy focus on player excellence, influencer development and content production that will drive key narratives across the confluence of esports, sports, music and pop culture. Newark is the perfect place to develop the next wave of competitive gamers and entertainers – a notorious hotbed for talent, adjacent to a Top 10 arena in the world, just 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan, and extremely close proximity to East Coast servers, establishing headquarters here was a no-brainer for us."

A Grand Opening event will be held Thursday, June 20 at 6:00 p.m. EST, on the eve of the Rocket League World Championships three-day showdown at Prudential Center. Our Rocket League Captain Jos "Violent Panda" van Meurs will be in attendance at both the Grand Opening and the RLCS World Championships and will compete in 1 v 1 scrimmages on Prudential Center’s main concourse against Rocket League fans. Additionally, our CS:GO Female team will bootcamp at the new facility the week of June 24, in advance of the DreamHack Showdown in Valencia, Spain.

We look forward to showcasing the incredible content plans and bootcamps we have in store at our new facility!
